Mr. Krumpe has been a licensed attorney since 1995, concentrating in civil litigation, commercial litigation, municipal law, and appellate practice.
A large portion of Mr. Krumpe’s practice is in the areas of commercial litigation, including all aspects of the Illinois Mechanics Lien Act, commercial and residential mortgage and judgment lien foreclosures, and appellate and Illinois Supreme Court litigation. Mr. Krumpe also represents court-appointed receivers in foreclosure matters and has experience serving as local counsel for out-of-town and out-of-state law firms seeking co-counsel representation throughout state and federal courts in Illinois.
Mr. Krumpe represented a client before the Illinois Supreme Court, securing a unanimous victory for an engineering firm, which clearly established lien rights for engineers under the Illinois Mechanics Lien Act.
Mr. Krumpe is co-author of an article entitled “Commercial Mortgage Foreclosure Litigation”, published by the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education in 2010.
