Michelle and her paralegal Laura are top-notch professionals. In court, Michelle has the mind of a prosecutor and builds an excellent case. She is good at working with witnesses to establish trust. She has a brilliant mind for family law. She anticipates everything and finds corners of arguments no one else would. Michelle also really kept me on the high road. Divorcing an abusive person is incredibly hard, and she didn't let me waver or try to besmirch him. We stayed graceful and above-board the whole time while my ex and his multiple attorneys flailed around with angry postures and threats. Michelle is classy all the way, skilled, friendly, and flexible. She and Laura tolerated my impatience and bad moods with understanding, but I never wallowed because we stayed focused on the work.
I spent a lot of money with Michelle, including through a merger and the death of a partner, and she was gracious and responsive and cool-headed the whole time. She won me my freedom from an abusive spouse who has an endless supply of money. I do not, but I won, and at a very fair price for all her hard work. She kept my best interest and my son's at heart, and never let me lose sight of the desired outcome. I have already recommended her to several friends.

I retained Michelle Eggert as my counsel for negotiation of a post-nuptial agreement, and subsequently to represent me in divorce proceedings. She is an excellent attorney. In hindsight, I should have followed her recommendations even more closely than I actually did. The choices I made contrary to her advice turned out to be mistakes. From the initial consult to the closing of my case I was confident that Michelle had my best interest in mind. She showed empathy toward my situation nd took extra time get to know me on a personal level. But don't let that fool you, she will not back down and I would put her up against anyone. I would highly recommend Michelle Eggert to anyone - particular females - who want a female attorney. She's an exellent listener, communicator, and knows the law well. She sent me constant communication on the status of my case - I never once had to ask her for an update. She also demonstrates excellent negotiation skills with other attorneys and made solid recommendations. If there was ever a question on something, she contacted me first before proceeding. She was thorough, accurate, and most importantly, she showed compassion - I truly felt she was at my side. A great advocate for any female facing changing life circumstances.

Awful experience with Michelle Eggert. No communication, seemed to talk more with him rather than with me. Questions never answered. One of her last statements in an email to me, her CLIENT, was "You might not like it, but it is what it is". Was like a punch in the stomach.

Went to consult with Michelle on a divorce paid 220 just to talk with her . Explained my case, seemed knowledgable. However, went I told her secretary I wanted to move forward in my case, I waited and waited and waited for paperwork. Called multiple times, told me oh yeah I have it right her she hasn't signed anything yet every time I called. 2 weeks and nothing. I would not recommend her at all. I needed to move quickly on my case and for 3500 retainer I expected promptness. Got anything but.
